This week's challenge: walk to any/every store, friend, school, etc that is within 1 km (that's about 3/45ths of a mile) of your home or office, or wherever your base of operations will be before going there. Obviously this takes planning in a little more time, but if you can incorporate your exercise throughout the day, then you might be able to build up to the point where you can drop one official exercise session each week due to the accumulation of more activity elsewhere. Or go all out and just build more total physical activity into your life.
So in the comments, leave how many times you pounded the pavement for at least a kilometer. This will start a series of challenges where the distance will get longer each time.
