Johns Hopkins on Liver Cancer

Alright---this one seems to be well updated, as the front page has an announcement about an upcoming event in 2011! Well else can we find?

Firstly, an interesting fact: liver cancer is mostly caused by chronic hepatitis. Since we have vaccines for Hep B, we should hopefully wipe this out. But no vaccine exists for Hep C, so it's still a problem. So, if you have or think you're at risk for Hep C, you should also talk to your doctor about possible liver cancer risk.

Once liver cancer is diagnosed, the main options are of course surgery, chemo, and radiation, though they're working on new techniques called "tumor ablation", which sounds from the short description like ultra-acute and directly delivered chemo and radiation.

Like with some of the other Johns Hopkins pages, this one has a chat room, which has been recently used, but not as frequently as some of the others.

Unfortunately, their resources/links page isn't terribly helpful, just providing links out to things like the American Cancer Society description of what liver cancer is. It doesn't say anything about exercise or nutrition, though obviously it will completely change someone's diet. I've never seen anything specific about exercise for liver cancer, and kind of imagine that nothing's been looked at yet.
