The purpose of this blog is to improve the quality of life of cancer survivors. This blog hopes to accomplish this goal by publicizing new research on quality of life for cancer survivors and identify programs and strategies that may help cancer survivors accomplish their goals.

Alcohol = asbestos, tobacco
A new public service TV ad campaign will be starting in Australia soon to educated people of the increased risk of developing cancer after having more than 2 standard drinks at one time. Yesterday, several media outlets such as Cancer Council WA and the Sunday Times put out stories/announcements about this campaign. The main message is spelled out completely in the Sunday Times article's title: A NEW goverrnment health campaign is warning West Australians
that alcohol is in the same cancer-causing category as tobacco and
asbestos
