The purpose of this blog is to improve the quality of life of cancer survivors. This blog hopes to accomplish this goal by publicizing new research on quality of life for cancer survivors and identify programs and strategies that may help cancer survivors accomplish their goals.

Cancer Foundation for Life

I actually came across this in my literature update, because they published a paper on their program's progress. It sounds awesome--the kind of thing I hope to do. Dr Kimmel pulled everyone in Tyler, Texas, together to start this program first as just him going into people's homes and helping them start exercising. They now have 14 staffed sites throughout the Dallas metropolitan area. Dr Kimmel is an inspiration for all people like me who want to better their communities.
