The purpose of this blog is to improve the quality of life of cancer survivors. This blog hopes to accomplish this goal by publicizing new research on quality of life for cancer survivors and identify programs and strategies that may help cancer survivors accomplish their goals.

Workout Sep 25

Today's workout focused on balance and core stability. Not too many people showed today for whatever reasons, and those who did were the guys who were fitter than most, so bumped it up a couple notches.


  1. single leg stand barefoot 1 minute
  2. stand on wobble and balance boards 1 min each
  3. balance board squats 15
  4. single leg toe touches 10
  5. legs on ball plank 3x20s
  6. supine ball rollouts 8
  7. seated on ball, single leg raises 4x3
  8. supine ball rotation 10
  9. single leg multi-planer leg raises 8
  10. single leg calf raises 15
  11. wall ball push ups 12
  12. side plank 4x15s
