Mission Statement

The purpose of this blog is to improve the quality of life of cancer survivors. This blog hopes to accomplish this goal by publicizing new research on quality of life for cancer survivors and identify programs and strategies that may help cancer survivors accomplish their goals.

workout Nov 29: fitness test

We did our fitness test today. I was very happy to see everyone improve on almost all areas. Tests listed below.

Quick note: I will be on holiday for the next week and a half, so will not be posting the next 3 workouts. I've got posts of other info scheduled to run while I'm gone, so it won't be completely bare. I'll save the full blackout for the holidays.

  1. 2 laps of oval for time (about 900m)
  2. max push ups in one go
  3. max hold on plank exercise
  4. single leg stand on each foot with eyes closed
  5. vertical jump
  6. submaximal bench press (aiming for 3-5 RM)
  7. sit and reach test for flexibility
