workout March 19

Today's group workout was all about the booty---we did several variations and add-ons to the bridge exercise. I broke the exercises into sets where, like music, I introduced a theme and then added variations.

1st set: normal bridge, and then single leg bridge on each leg--30 second hold for each

2nd set: same thing, but passing a couple medicine balls around the groups while holding the positions

a break set of isometric push ups (holding the body 1cm off the ground); 3x10second holds with 50 seconds rest between sets

also to add to the break, holding the med ball between the knees and doing reverse/knee crunches

Then back to more variatons

3rd set: single leg bridge, with the leg off the ground performing hip AB/ADduction

4th set: same as 3rd set, but passing the medicine ball around

another break set, this time holding a plank and sliding 2.5 kg weight plates around the circle, going 40 seconds total on the plank

5th set: single leg bridge, ab/adducting the held up leg, holding the medicine ball up in the air with one hand, and with the other hand passing the weight plates around the circle. Challenge to coordination: monumental. Number of balls dropped on someone else's face: 2.
