West Coast Cancer Rehab Program

Go Cancer Rehab is a physical therapy based program. They offer a 2 month program with participation 2-3x week. They have offices throughout Nevada, Utah, Idaho, and Colorado. Most of the physical therapy offices are called "Mountain Land Physical Therapy," though some of the ones outside of Idaho especially have other names. I'm guessing it's not a free service, however, the quote below is very interesting as it talks about insurance coverage.

"Cancer Rehab Covered by Insurance!

Cancer Rehabilitation is a physical therapy intervention. Therefore it is covered under the physical therapy benefits of most insurances, including Medicare. Some insurances require a referral from your doctor prior to being seen by a physical therapist. Check with your insurance provider to see if a referral is required for treatment."

I'm hoping that more and more cancer specific services will be covered by insurance in the coming years. The project I'm working on, as we're partnered with an insurance company, will provide evidence to support this change in insurance provisions.
