One Day's Meal Plan

Again from the PYNKS dietician’s notes: an example of a good day’s worth of meals for, though not limited to, women with advanced breast cancer, focusing on healthy sources of protein.

Breakfast: ½ cup of muesili cereal with ½ cup of milk
Morning tea: coffee with 1 cup of milk
Lunch: 1 can of flavored tuna with wholegrain crackers
Afternoon tea: 100g yoghurt
Dinner: 60g cooked fish and veggies
Supper: fruit with 100g of lite custard

As you see, there’s an emphasis on fish, due to it being a low fat protein source that also provides other nutrients like omega-3 fatty acids.
