The purpose of this blog is to improve the quality of life of cancer survivors. This blog hopes to accomplish this goal by publicizing new research on quality of life for cancer survivors and identify programs and strategies that may help cancer survivors accomplish their goals.

Johns Hopkins on Ovarian Cancer

This is one of their more active websites. Right on the front page they have personal stories, events, and help links. On the left toolbar is the link for their discussion board, which is VERY active.

They have very good pages on their site for all the following pieces of information as well:
 Research for ovarian cancer is very important, because unlike the most common women's cancer--breast--ovarian cancer still has a low survival rate.

Currently, my adviser is working on setting up a research program to examine exercise for women with ovarian cancer. Will report more as she gets it going.
