Some of the other features I'd like to highlight:
- A Q&A section about CA-125, protein marker used to test for ovarian cancer.
- A fact sheet about what women should know to help prevent or detect ovarian cancer
- An article of important considerations before choosing treatment
- A whole page entitled "Your Emotions", which is an awesome inclusion you don't see in most support sites
They have very good pages on their site for all the following pieces of information as well:
- symptoms
- treatment
- nutrition
- clinical trials (the top half is describing what a clinical trial is---scroll to the bottom for links to find clinical trials
- external resources links
Currently, my adviser is working on setting up a research program to examine exercise for women with ovarian cancer. Will report more as she gets it going.
