Mission Statement

The purpose of this blog is to improve the quality of life of cancer survivors. This blog hopes to accomplish this goal by publicizing new research on quality of life for cancer survivors and identify programs and strategies that may help cancer survivors accomplish their goals.

Case study part 5: progress

I sent the older woman with multiple myeloma off for a month with an exercise plan to complete at home. We'll see how she's going in the start of July.

Big progress with the younger breast cancer survivor: her shoulder and chest were well enough to start boxing yesterday. We went at it for 10-15 minutes, not continuously obviously, but it was still great. I'm hoping this really helps loosen things up and should keep her motivated to sweat more.
