Mission Statement

The purpose of this blog is to improve the quality of life of cancer survivors. This blog hopes to accomplish this goal by publicizing new research on quality of life for cancer survivors and identify programs and strategies that may help cancer survivors accomplish their goals.

Workout Sep 6

For today's workout, I asked each of the guys what was one area they wanted to improve, and then we all did the best exercise to accomplish that. Some things included: variations on push ups and planks, bicep curls for the girls, deadlift, rowing, running around the oval throwing medicine balls. One of my favorites was lying on our backs on the floor in a pinwheel, feet facing into the middle, and passing a fitness ball around with just our feet. It was an entertaining way of getting through a workout, because the exercises were so random.
