Male Bag Ride

The Australian Post and Prostate Cancer Foundation Australia launched this year's charity event, which is a bicycle ride on old bicycles the post used from Perth to Melbourne. They've called it the Male Bag Ride, a rather clever pun I thought. The prior link takes you to their home page if you'd like to donate. You can also read a good article about it at the Post's website. The riders left this morning to head down to Margaret River, then they'll keep heading south before turning east toward Adelaide and end up in Melbourne. If you look at their itinerary, it seems pretty amazing that they'll be making it to Melbourne in only 11 days, though I guess when you ride the whole work day you go pretty far.
