Ian Gawler on Fasting

Ian Gawler is one of the sacred talking heads (I mean that only humorously with no disrespect) of cancer survivors. One of my patients recently read an article by him about how with fasting, you may be able to literally starve the cancer cells to death. This idea does have some merit, but I would not yet advocate it; I would however advocate that an oncologist run a proper clinical study on this idea to see if it does have any true merit.
